2009 Titleholder

On Sunday, November 2nd, 2008 a panel of judges declared Amy Foster Ms. Wheelchair Kentucky, 2009.  She was also chosen Ms. Congeniality by her fellow candidates.  She began her reign in January and will represent Kentucky in the national program in South Dakota later in 2009. Amy Foster is a dynamic woman who will graduate from the University of Louisville in May of 2010.  She then plans to go on to Law School where she will pursue her interests in criminology and human rights.  Tattooed over her heart is “Caveat Emptor”- or buyer beware- which captures her thoughts that everything in life comes at a price.  It reminds her to weigh her decisions carefully and to be dedicated to them. She is a Harlan Scholar at U of L and enjoys trying new things and meeting new people.
