She was thrilled to meet and compete at nationals in Denver in August 2001. Her favorite quote: "If it's meant to be, it's up to me." She uses her disability to share her faith as well as trying to teach others, mostly teenagers, to THINK FIRST in order to protect their bodies. She also works with a U.K. Trauma Unit.
